6) It looks like this business utilizes all of their social media accounts, having recent posts on all major platforms, however, IG has about 100,000 more followers compared to Twitter and FB.

6) This business uses all major platforms with the exception of YouTube. They post every few days, with many posts occurring on each platform the same day, besides YouTube. They haven't posted anything on that platform in 2+ years.

6) This business does make use of both these major platforms, however has far less of a following on Twitter and thus posts less. On Instagram they post at least twice a week if not more while they post about twice a month on Twitter.

I chose to explore the businesses of companies in which I frequently purchase from. They all place a heavy emphasis on healthy food, so it's definitely a more niche market. Their amount of followers is a reflection of that. None of them are particularly popular with the exception of Jamba Juice, however, all of them do have one thing in common. They all do have social media accounts.

From my observations, it was easy to gather that the more specialized a companies product is, the less of a following they have. All these companies have pretty specialized products being either health based food or entirely vegan products. As the scope gets smaller, you can see there is a decline in the follower base. This is something to keep in mind when making a business, you want something that caters to the masses while having some slight specialized properties.

Out of the 5 listed businesses listed above, this is inherently clear between Jamba Juice and Naked cafe. Jamba Juice is a behemoth of a company with a product that anyone can enjoy. It's very marketable. Naked foods is a local business with a very specialized product, artisan health foods. It has a smaller scope, thus a significantly minor following in comparison. It was also clear that the more a company uses their social media, the larger following they have. Jamba, clearly the most popular company of the 5, had the largest following. They also post the most, about 4x a week. The other companies post about 1x a week and have a significant difference in followers. Lastly, I noticed all of the companies had a huge amount of Instagram followers compared to other social media outlets.
